David Cyr
Founder, 40+ years of flooring expertise.
I’m David Cyr, born in Aroostook County, Maine, of French Canadian descent. In towns like Van Buren and Madawaska, you’re likely to meet someone I’m related to. My family and I are all hardworking, family-oriented people of faith, guided by the principle that doing right by others will earn their trust in return. My father, brother, and I all proudly served as Marines, driven by the love for our country.
Blue Dog Flooring, is named after our loyal family English Bulldog “Blue” whose energy and love reflects my lifelong passion for flooring. With years of experience selling and installing millions of dollars of flooring, I’ve built a reputation for quality and integrity. Now, I’m launching Blue Dog Flooring to serve the community with honest, expert guidance while providing high-value flooring products.

Blue Dog Flooring, a single-member LLC S-Corp registered in Maine, is set to open in mid-November 2025 at 674 Bridgton Rd, Westbrook, ME 04092. I, David Cyr, am the sole owner, salesman and manager of the business…please give us a call or stop by for all of your flooring needs.

Festivities
Here in Maine we long for our great outdoor summer events like barbecues or a good old fashioned clam bake complete with Lobsters, corn on the Cobb, and I might be bragging a little; the worlds best potato salad. We enjoy our Fourth of July complete with a lit up old glory and some bargain basement sparklers. We try to dip our toes in the water at least one time during the summer at Sebago and sit on the rocks at Pine Point. All in all we find joy in celebrating the seasons and the holidays and we find tremendous joy on a daily basis helping our customers with their flooring needs!
